Music for the soul

10 favorite songs......

I LOVE music. Music is something that can change the mood of the day. It can take a crappy attitude and make it positive. It lifts my spirits, if it is the right song. I have never been a person that only listens to a certain type of music. I can enjoy a good song wither it be country, jazz or pop.  Music is the only way I can make through my 4 am workouts!

1. Brown eyed Girl/ Van Morrison
I use to sing this song to my daughter when she was a baby.

2. Better when I'm Dancing/ Meghan Trainor
This song makes me happy.

3. Best day of my Life/ American Authors

4. Can't Hold Us/ Maklemore& Ryan Lewis
This is a good song to have in your workout playlist.

5. Dancing with Myself/ Billy Idol
Oldie but a goodie.

6. Gypsys, Tramps and Thieves/ Cher
Who doesn't love Cher!

7. Wide Open Spaces/ Dixie Chicks
This song reminds me that I hate the city.

8. Ticket to Ride/ The Beatles

9. Rain on the Scarecrow/ John Mellencamp
I actually love most everything from him!

10. Jesus Walks/ Kanye West
I do not like Kanye West as a person but this song is pretty good. Its also on my workout playlist.

So those are my top 10. I have so many more that some day I will make a list to share. I hope that You enjoy music as much as me. What are your favorites?

Where do I want to be in 10yrs?

Where do I want to be in 10 years?

That is the question of the day.

My husband and I try to be fly by the seat of our pants people. We don't make a lot of plans, yet I have to be planning weeks ahead for my blog, workouts and meals.

So I guess I am a planner.

In 10 years I know for sure I would like to be at my ideal weight and be healthy. It may take me 10 years to get there, but I really hope not. I am going to focus this year on chipping away at it.

I would also like to be moved away. We would like to retire in AZ but we have 20 years before we can do that. I would just like to get out of this stupid house(the ex picked out) and out of the city. We would like to not have neighbors.

Being a grandmother would also be pretty awesome, but I don't know that that will ever be in my cards. My daughter hates kids, my son isn't really a big fan either. What's a mom to do but pray!

Those are my 3 top wants. I have more little ones that I plan to achieve in the next year.

Where do you want to be in 10 years? I hope it's somewhere beautiful.
