Friday Fitness

Let's wind this week up with some fun workouts!
It has been a week into the new year and so far I have been able to stick to my goals...mostly! 
How is everyone else doing? I hope that things are going smoothly.

I don't have a time frame to fit my workout into today so I'm going to go a little long. I feel like I haven't been working hard enough.

I found this video on Pinterest. I have a punching bag and gloves that do not get enough use out of them. It s a cardio kickboxing video by Grokker that of course I can't get to upload!
I didn't do the whole video. It was just to intense for me. I am not that coordinated so I tried another Grokker video. 
I was hoping to find someone I could follow today...not Kelly Lee, she breaths out to loudly. Wow do I sound judgy!! I just am having a hard time with this. 

My second video is Shaun T. I had never done one of his videos before but I hear he's all the rage so that's why I chose it.
Oh MY!! This is an intense video for your arms. I am for sure adding it to my list. I'll have to work up to heavier weights with it.

Those two videos were for upper body and I'm exhausted but I need to give a little love to the bottom before calling it a day. I found this video just searching youtube.
Holy Cow! This one BURNS. I can see where this will help the thighs, if you don't fall over.

Thursday Thighs

In case you haven't noticed my daily theme after a body part. Monday I did the Brutal Butt Workout. Man is that name true!
I highly recommend this workout if you don't want to sit the next day...just kidding. It's a great workout.

Todays workouts:
Back at the legs and my thighs. I need to start bulking up my legs getting prepped for my hike in May.

I am trying out other videos since I just can't seem to be happy with any so far. I am giving Fitness Blender one more shot with this video, but I am not a big fan of the water breaks in the middle of the videos.

These videos will do for this morning, got my 30 minutes of working out and later I will get in my treadmill time. I do like jessicasmithtv on youtube so maybe I will stick with her...I'm not holding my breath.

Keto Meals:

My meals have been so sporadic this week. I've been busy, but it basically consists of Pulled pork, Salads and cheese. Lots of eggs, Qwest bars to help with my sweet cravings. I haven't felt hungry, just bored. Next week should be a little calmer so I will make sure I have a menu planned and follow it.

Triceps Tuesday

Here we go, day 2 of Fitness Blender. 

Today it's about the arms. I hate my arms. They are my worst feature, I would have to say. The older I get, the flabbier they are. Here's a good article about some points on toning your arms. I want to be able to wear tank tops this summer, haven't done that in years!

I did this video.

My cardio was an hour on the treadmill. Nothing fancy!

I had a doctors appointment today so I was a little distracted and barely got this workout done. Which is why I chose this quote for the day! I have this on my motivation wall in my gym and look at it OFTEN.

Motivational Monday

It's a new week! Starting it off right.

Keto Prep

Yesterday, I made my breakfast quiche for the week. It has ham and broccoli in it. I don't normally eat breakfast. I try to fast until at least 9am since I stop eating @ 6pm, so I ususally eat this for dinner.
I made my pulled pork, which is a staple for me. I love it and can eat it often.
Got my bulk ground hamburger made and sectioned out. Use that for taco salads.
I cut up all my celery and put into containers.
Salads put in their separate bowls and ready for lunches. 

I found a recipe for crackers that I want to try after I get a week under my belt of full keto. I started last week but caved when the holiday happened. 
Thankfully I found some yummy Qwest bars that I can use for when I'm having a sweet fit.


It is leg day and my first day trying out the Blender Fitness videos. I did this video. 

I hope that I like these videos. I liked Jillian Michaels but for some reason I couldn't stick with them. I think it might have been her voice. I'm really weird about what people sound like when telling me how to workout. I know it probably sounds crazy when I can just turn up the music and not listen to her but I need to have someone telling me how to workout.


I thought I would try out the Bullet Journal for the new year. I'm not quite sure that I will stick with it because it is more work than just a pre-made planner, but there's more ways to make it your own.
